We Hereby Draft Greg Krikorian to Run for the Assembly in 2010!

The Assemblymember for the 43rd Assembly District’s, Paul Krekorian, is running for Los Angeles City Council. Who will replace him in the Assembly?

This website was created to draft Glendale School Board Member Greg Krikorian to run!

Greg Krikorian is a local leader respected by our community. He is also someone who helped me, and countless other parents, very much.

Why Greg?

He’s the father of five children and a business owner in Glendale, and has been actively involved in various district and community organizations, and is a very respected member of the community.

His leadership on our schools with all of their challenges makes him precisely the type of guy who can fix the major problems of this state.

He’s a nice guy (trust me), someone who appears to everyone who meets him to be passionate about his work and genuinely caring about problem solving.

Top 5 Reasons Why This Campaign Would Be a Big Victory for Greg Krikorian.

(5) Transpartisan coalition possible. The race to replace Krekorian will be an open primary, which means that anybody from any party can vote for any candidate. This favors a guy like Krikorian, who can put together a coalition of voters from both sides of the aisle.

(4) Glendale has lots of voters. Krikorian is well-respected in Glendale, where the most voters in the 43rd come from.

(3) Similar name. Although he is not related as far as I can tell, his name is similar enough to the incumbent so that many people might think they recognize it.

(2) Proven. He’s already been elected to office, which proves he’s electable.

(1) He’s popular with all ethnic groups. I know, I know, voters vote in groups. Greg has the potential to get all of them to vote for him, because he works so well with all of us! That is what the district needs, a uniter.
